Christopher Wright, publishes dpi and PhotOZine, Australia's photography and digital imaging magazine. Wright commented in the June 1999 issue "The Ace Indexes is one of my favourite American Websites, being my number one gateway to other photographic sites around the World .... The amount of work that has gone into researching and building the Ace Index is mind boggling .... In December 1997, Photo District News designated ACE as one of their highly coveted Key Links for "web sites that ... are especially valuable." This is especially significant for us because PDN is one of the highest traffic sites for photography on the Web. We have advanced to PDN's Link Heaven, and you'll find ACE among PDN's "Resources & References". Thank you PDN.

In January 1998 our post-holiday blahs didn't last long when we learned ACE had been named one of the Editors Choice award winners for 1997 by The Design & Publishing Center.

Fred Showker's dedicated crew produces several online publications. DT&G Magazine, Web Design & Review, and PhotoShop Tips & Tricks have a combined monthly readership of more than 170,000 visitors. Showker invited ACE to add photography to The Design and Publishing Center. With that large an audience we couldn't say no. For some time ACE has been contributing photography content for &FOTOgraphic. It's a great place to learn about digital cameras, imaging software and more. New contributions from talented professionals appear monthly and can be enjoyed simply by clicking on the following graphic.

In February '98 Jim Wintner at PhotoArts sent us his congratulations. We didn't have a clue what he was talking about. "Congratulations for what?" we asked. Only then did we learn ACE was ranked the #1 Photography Web Site by surfers visiting toptenlinks.com. In July 1999 we're still Number One!
