Really don't see a point of stopped down metering. If "what you see is what you get" is true of a simple SLR- that's what I want! I suppose stopped down metering would be OK, as long as it doesn't mess up what I see in the viewer- I have the problem that I compose the image on full open apeture, then have to remember to use the stop down to make sure that what I have in focus and out of focus is still in (or out) of focus. Am I missing something?
