:Bit of a mute point, no focus system is easy to
use in low light including auto focus which is
why they have focus lights built into either
the camera or flash units. Theres a lot of hype
surrounding rangefinder systems as a rule. The
disadvantages are sorta "glossed over" They are
pretty demanding on the operator as a rule requiring all sorts of allowances for paralex, usualy inferior metering systems and "funky" film loading. My advice would be before you spend big
bucks getting into one buy a "cheapie" rangefinder
and play with that for a while. This will give you
at least a "feel" for rangefinders before you "blow the wad!"

I was considering the rangefinder slr format, and i was wondering how accurate they are for night time and low light photography? Will you be able to see the split images at night/low light settings?
: thanks, Mlan.
