: I have an old Simmons Chromega D-4 it needs refurbushing before I can use it. Do you know any company in CA which provides this service?

Considering the cost of labor in camera repair shops, I suggest you determine what you need, order the parts and do the restoration yourself.

I'm aware of only one company in the United States which refurbishs old Omega enlargers. Unfortunately Harry Taylor's Classic Enlargers is in Connecticut and enlargers don't ship well. He'll sell you the parts if you know what you need. Visit ( http://www.classic-enlargers.com/ )

You might also contact Terry Seaman in Illinois, he calls himself The Darkroom Guy - see ( http://www.photomall.com/dkrmguy.htm )
