: hi,
: my 13 yr old daughter is paralyzed on the right side. i need info on cameras or camcorders that are left hand user friendly. any useful info would be greatly appreciated. thank you,
: dad
Your right (no pun intended) most cameras are set up for right handed use. I the case of still cameras just turn the camera upside down and use
the left thumb to operate the shutter release. You cannot do this with camcorders as this would invert the image on playback Unless you turned the TV upside down (grin) I have several customers
that have had a stroke or the like that use this left handed upside approch and they manage well.
Film loading-unloading can be a problem so you should look at APS format were loading is strictly
drop in. Hope this helps if all else fails. Best regards to you and your daughter Mikeb
