Hello,
I am looking for help with my Nikon FG. I pulled it out of the closet after 12 years and wanted to take pictures again. I put in a new battery, and the shutter will not open. Can anyone help me with this shutter problem. I do not know how to get it to open, and I don't know why it stays shut. Any info you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lisa

Hello, I have the same camera and it works fine. Take the lens off and see if that fixes it. It hasn't been opened or closed for so long it just gets stuck. Let me know if this fixes it.
