: I have a Manolta 3000i camera and the problem I am having is that it takes a long time to auto focus. I put in a new battery and it is still having the same problem. What can I do?

I agree w/ John, but pls. be sure that the battery contact points are clean. Dirty /corroded contacts can reduce voltage sent causing the same symptoms as a bad battery. Also, have you checked to see if the sensor window is clean an unobstructed? Perhaps, silly as it sounds, holding the camera in a way that partially blocks the sensor beam can interfere w/ the focus operation. Sometimes we overlook the simple solutions. Good luck !
