Mid-roll rewind....
Turn the camera on and depress the button that has a remote/timer on it (looking from the rear it's on the top next to the display). you have to hold the button down for more than 3 seconds and you will see a rewind symbol pop up in the display, continue holding the button down and relaese the shutter button and the camera will rewind.

: I have mislaid my manual and need to know where is "secret" button to push to rewind in middle of roll?? I had to change batteries mid roll and now roll will not finish. I need to push a button to rewind and thou I know I have to use the small pointer on strap buckle, I cannot remember where to place it to trigger rewind. Assistance appreciated..I have ordered a manual from John Craig's Company but thought someone might be able to help me get this roll out. Perhaps there is a problem beyond the battery change. Please e mail me.
