I am posting this message on behalf on an artist. He currently has over 15000+ 35mm slides from which he produces oil paintings. He currently has no real filing system, other than where he thinks the photograph is. He wants an electronic system of collating and viewing the slides.
Which brand 35mm slide scanner would you recommend and what picture cataloguing software would you advise is best ?
He would like to see the image from within the software both as a thumbnail when he searches the database and a full screen blow up. Thanks.
