Thanks yet again -- it may not seem so, but I heeded your warning from earlier (and from others) and I have looked into the buying with warranty and also the dealers you suggested -- but wow, what you just said proves your point beyond a doubt. Well put. Hope others can benefit from that as well.
Overall, it seems that the things I find in packages seem to be not as good as what I can get when purchased separately.
(I did get specs on all the lenses, just didn't go into detail
on the message).
Curiously, the things you asked about knowing what to look for
when the camera would come (shutter,bayonet) -- any suggested
readings for that? Sounds like a lot of stuff I would like to be
aware of for myself as I progress. Maybe that all just comes with
experience.
