I purchased a "demo" Minolta Macro Flash 1200AF-N (a ring flash) without a manual for my Nikon N70. When I test the flash unit I get a nice bright flash. When it is on attached to the hot shoe, the flash is dramatically less...basically useless!
When I place the unit on my old manual Ricoh, it works fine...nice and bright.
I know that I need to get the directions, but short of that,
any suggestions or useful information around on what I might be
doing wrong?
