: I need owner's information or manual for a Praktica SLR camera. Does anyone know if I might be able to obtain an English Language version of this?

There are several different kinds of Praktica cameras. Most were screw mount M42 cameras that underwent many design changes from the late 1940s all the way to the late 1980's. These include the FX with the waist level finder, an early model; The Praktica IV and V models, that followed the FX; the Nova series of the late 1960s and the L series that ran from around 1970 until the Berlin wall went down. After that Prakticas went to a bayonet mount and had electronic shutters.

Be more specific about you camera model and maybe we can help.
