Peerless did not make the projector. A complete 35mm projection system consists of the actual projector head (made by many different manufacturers and there are many models), a soundhead (also made by many different manufacturers), a lamphouse (made by many manufacturers such as McCauley's Peerless), and a pedestal base (also made by many manufacturers) to hold it all together.
A carbon arc lamphouse today has little value except for parts to keep others of the same make/model running as there are no other spare parts. The projector head, sound head, and pedestal base have some value depending on make/model and overall condition.
I would suggest you post pictures of what your 'projector' as you call it looks like at the forums at www.bigscreenbiz.com , www.film-tech.com , and www.film-center.com where the knowledgeable folks can tell you exactly what you do have and what it's worth. :)
