The front lense cover which is like a donought and covers the flash and light sensors around the edge of the lense broke of. It also holds the manual focus ring on ( which came of too) Can this be glued back on or do the fumes from the superglue damage the chips and electronic circuits on the camera. The 2 plastic pieces that held this on have snapped and it looks like the other alternative is to replace the whole front end which would not be cheap.
