Camera Repair Forums
Online forums are places to ask questions and hopefully get answers. First-time users must register their email address before they can post messages and participate. Most allow visitors to read previously posted messages and the responses from members. Web forums have largely supplanted newsgroups but the same rules of online civility apply.
Classic Camera Repair Forum
This forum is part of the Favorite Classics web site and offers sections for camera collectors, camera maintenance and repair, restoration tools and methods, a swap zone where members can post ads for parts cameras or make trades and archived messages from 2004 to 2007. An active forum with knowledgeable participants.

Probably the oldest community of photographers on the web, founded by Philip Greenspun in 1993. Forums, equipment reviews and photo galleries for members. Separate categories for each camera brand and format, however there are no specific repair forums, and you may or may not get much repair help. Overwhelming to the occasional visitor. In my humble opinion, the most useful feature is "Neighbor Recommendations" found under the Community tab, Here you'll find thousands of reader reports on camera shops, photo labs, inkjet suppliers and more. A must read resource before you buy photo equipment from a store you've never heard of before.
Worldwide audience interested in Leica, Canon, Voigtlander, Zeiss and other rangefinder cameras. Has a rangefinder camera repair forum, many camera-specific and topic forums. Requires registration to participate. Paid 30 day classified ads and auctions.

Yahoo has groups for thousands of topics, including Camera-Fix, primarily focused on fixing mechanical cameras, The Asahi Pentax Spotmatic Users Group, a group for Nikon Collecting where repair questions are welcomed, cameramakers where members discuss camera construction and repair, the Bell & Howell Filmo movie camera Collectors Club is "dedicated to the collecting, care, maintainence, repair, restoration, information and using of these fine old "workhorses" of cinematography." the Stereo Realist Club, the Konica Rangefinder group, the Digital Camera Repair Group, the Camera Repair Group and many more.The next section covers camera repair manuals and training manuals.
